Using Tables: Inserting and Formatting Tables

First, go to the Insert tab and click on the "Tables" button.

hover the mouse to specify how many columns and rows you want for your table. This is by far the easiest way to create a table when you know exactly how many rows and columns you will need. Then click it.

At this point, there is an additional tab that let's you format the table. You can choose the aesthetic quality of columns and rows by selecting on the table styles. Additionally, you can change the thicknesss of the table lines.
